WELCOME TO BAY AREA OFFICIALS
Welcome to the Bay Area Basketball Officials Association. The Bay Area Chapter is comprised of more than 70 basketball officials, and is a member of the Texas High School Basketball Officials Association (THSBOA). Bay Area Officials strives to provide highly professional and well-trained basketball officials for the schools in which we service, ranging from Junior High through the Varsity level. Organizations
LEGISLATIVE BODIES
Bay Area Officials functions in accordance with a variety of legislative bodies which help us create, adjust and maintain the rules and regulations in which we abide by. Legislative bodies we built and associate our organization on include the UIL, NFHS, THSBOA and Arbiter Sports. These organizations help us function in a smooth and consistent manner to produce the best talent we can when it involves to officiating basketball games around the Bay Area.
New Member Information
INTERESTED IN JOINING
All officials interested in joining the Bay Area Basketball Officials Association must register as an official with the Texas High School Basketball Officials Association (THSBOA). This will allow you to register with Bay Area Officials as well. This can be done on the THSBOA website at www.thsboa.org. Please make sure you select Bay Area as your local officials association. Local dues of $40 and State dues of $75 are required upon registration.
